Morris is located on Provincial Trunk Highway 75, 30 minutes south of Winnipeg in the centre of the Red River Valley.  Morris is Centerport’s southern link connecting it to the US.  We are a unique transportation hub with two highways and two railways strategically connecting us to the international trade routes.

Two By-Law Enforcement Service Officers will be in the area Friday September 26th, 2014 familiarizing themselves with our community. Nomination Period Closed for 2014

There will be no election for Town Council in Morris. Gavin van der Lind will serve another term as Mayor after being acclaimed. Incumbent Councillors Bruce Third, Trevor Thiessen, Mike Hinchey, Bill Ginter, and Ruth Murray have also been elected by acclamation. New to the council table is Tim Lewis.


A multi-purpose facility comprised of the Convention Centre, Morris Curling Club, the Morris Arena, and the Morris Wellness Centre.


The Morris Fire station is located at 139 Railroad Ave. West in Morris and houses both the Fire Dept. and Emergency Medical Services.

    The bridge was built in 1968 and requires major rehabilitation to extend its service life by another 40 years.
