Board of Revision
If you would like to appeal your property assessment, please contact the Municipal Assessment Branch in Morden at 1-204-822-2900 or (Toll Free) 1-866-606-7647.
If you still do not agree with your property assessment after speaking with an assessor, there is an annual Board of Revision process where you have an opportunity to file a formal appeal. Your written appeal must be filed with:

The Town of Morris Board of Revision date to hear appeals is held on an annual basis, normally in September of each year. The date is set by the assessment branch and will be advertised in the local paper well in advance of the Board of Revision date.
An application for revision must:
- be in writing
- set out the roll number and legal description of the assessable property for which as revision is sought;
- state the grounds on which the application is based;
- be filed by:
• delivering it or causing it to be delivered to the office indicated in the public notice; or
• serving it upon the secretary, at least 15 days before the scheduled sitting date of the board as indicated in the public notice.
There is no fee to file an appeal through the annual Board of Revision.
